Women in Technology: Meet Diana

Marissa: Tell us your story on how you got into technology.

Diana: I was looking for a shift in my career so I began my search looking for a company with a great culture that would challenge me and allow me to learn and grow every day. Dataprise immediately caught my eye and the rest is history!

Marissa: Did you always know that working in technology was what you wanted to do?

Diana: I did not. I am new to the technology field but have been able to absorb so much information in the short time that I have been here.

Marissa: How long have you been with Dataprise?

Diana: I have been at Dataprise for 8 months now and have enjoyed every moment.

Marissa: Can you share a little bit about what it is that you do and what a typical day for you is like?

Diana: I am a Sales Coordinator at Dataprise. This means I focus on sales operations by supporting the internal sales processes and optimizing them to make the lives of the Dataprise Account Executives and managers easier so they can have the time to focus on their sales pursuits.

Marissa: What is one piece of advice you’d give to young women looking to get into the technology field?

Diana: Don’t be afraid to take on a challenge! The technology field is constantly growing and evolving. There are plenty of roles for people of all types of skills and backgrounds.

Marissa: What is that you enjoy most about your current job at Dataprise?

Diana: I enjoy that every day is different. I am constantly learning in my role as new challenges present themselves all of the time. My teammates are wonderful and make every day great!

Marissa: Where do you see yourself going from here?

Diana: I plan on being the best that I can be and evolving with the company as we take on exciting new endeavors.
